After missing six months with a fractured kneecap, Kyrie Irving made his long-awaited season debut for the Cavs. He played just 17 minutes, but he scored 12 points with one rebound, four assists, and two steals on 5-12 shooting, including 2-2 from downtown). It was an easier game to return to than the Thunder game that he was rumored to play in.

After tonight’s game, Irving was interviewed by Fox Sports Ohio’s Allie Clifton, where he was asked about the game. During the interview, Irving was interrupted multiple times by his teammates Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith, who were photobombing and throwing towels at him.
“I’m just glad to be back with my brothers,” said Irving as he got mobbed by his teammates.
