Kyrie Irving and Iman Shumpert participated in full practices for the first time in months last week, and are slowing working their way back into game shape as they recover from a pair of significant injuries. Shumpert had a ruptured tendon in his wrist right before training camp while Irving fractured his kneecap in the NBA Finals.
Both, however, would be incredibly welcome additions to a Cavalier team that has lost three straight and have really struggled both offensively as well as defensively of late.

Blatt spoke to the media regarding Irving and Shumpert’s possible return, as reported by Chris Haynes of Cleveland.com
“We’re very much hoping we get them back sooner than later. I just can’t commit to you when exactly they’ll get back,” Blatt said. “But I believe sooner than later.”
Haynes is also reporting that Irving and Shumpert will both be traveling with the team on their mini, two-game road trip to face Orlando on Friday and Boston on Tuesday. That should give Cavs fans a sense of optimism for their fast-approaching return.
