The team meeting that the Cleveland Cavaliers had on Monday has been one of the most talked about topics in the NBA lately. While there have been multiple reports on how it went, not a lot is known with what exactly the Cavs talked about. LeBron James was asked to shed more light on it, but he declined to give further details and said he does not want to talk about it, according to Tom Withers of The Associated Press.
With all the attention given to the Cavs, James knew that it might have been best if he did not talk about the meeting. There was a lot of chatter around Isaiah Thomas allegedly leading his teammates in questioning Kevin Love being ill against the Thunder and skipping practice on Sunday. While it has not been confirmed yet, it definitely is a cause of concern for the Northeast Ohio faithful, as a feud may be brewing among the Cavs’ players.
Following their loss on Tuesday against the San Antonio Spurs, more questions have emerged as to what the real issue is for the team as they continue to lose a lot of games. They have now dropped 11 of their last 14 assignments and have not looked like the powerhouse team that they were in the past three seasons.
There is no doubt that this is one of the least successful stretches the team has had in recent memory and it may take more than just keeping their thoughts to themselves as the solution to their situation.
