Cleveland Cavaliers star Lebron James may have been ejected for the first time in his career during Tuesday’s game against the Miami Heat, but at least he has a sense of humor about it.
James got tossed from the game against his former team after arguing a non-call and saying some, ahem, colorful words to official Kane Fitzgerald. He then took to his Instagram account after the game for a post of his shoes and a joke about what happened.

It’s somewhat baffling to think that LeBron James has never been ejected from an NBA basketball game in the 15 years he’s played at this level. Like most players, he complains and gets on the referees quite often, and earns a technical foul every now and again.
In fact, Fitzgerald admitted that he only assessed one technical foul to LeBron James, but still assessed him the ejection.
LeBron James will definitely get upset at an official again before his career is over, and he’ll absolutely get his fair share of technical fouls. But now that he’s been ejected once, it’ll be interesting to see whether or not it happens again.
