During his one-year tenure with the Chicago Bulls, Dwyane Wade experienced plenty of rocky moments with his teammates throughout the year.
One that stuck out was his internal issue with some of his younger teams that became a prominent topic of conversation early in the season due to the Bulls’ struggles on the court. According to Nikki Goel of ClutchPoints, this is a situation that Wade revealed on Tuesday that he resolved by talking it out with his teammates.
Regardless of how things transpired in Chicago, Wade will get an entirely new and clean slate with the Cavaliers. He is joining a team full of established veteran players that for the most part have all been the league for more than a handful of years.
The 35-year-old could quickly become one of the leaders in the locker room given his vast experience in the league and championship pedigree having won three NBA titles over his career. He could also be a voice to lean on alongside LeBron James during key moments during this upcoming season.
Wade is entering a situation where he could prosper in a similar fashion to how things unfolded with the Miami Heat a few seasons ago playing in a secondary role while being one of the key parts to helping lead the team to success. Simply put, Cleveland may provide him a clear opportunity to earn another NBA title.
