Cleveland Cavaliers reserve center Channing Frye appears to have forgotten his chill in Ohio.
That’s the only reason we find behind the savagery Frye pulled off on a team flight to Philadelphia in which he nonchalantly flipped the bird to teammate Jose Calderon.
Frye even documented it on his Instagram story for everyone to see.
Poor Jose. The Spaniard seemed to be merely minding his own business and looked as though the last thing he wants was a teammate razzing him. But anyone who’s followed Channing Frye’s career can say that this was all just in the name of fun. After all, the Cavs could afford to smile, as they are on a seven-game win streak, and are looking to extend it this Monday against the up-and-coming Philadelphia 76ers.
The 12-7 Cavs were last seen on the court taking a close 100-99 win at home over the Charlotte Hornets last Friday. With two days of full rest, Calderon, Frye, and the rest of the Cavs are primed to sustain their unbeaten streak at the expense of the Sixers.
Despite Channing Frye’s antics in the plane, expect Jose Calderon to still pass the sharpshooting big man the ball whenever he spots him open from behind the arc.
