The Cleveland Cavaliers are looking to repeat this postseason and defend their NBA Championship. Rightfully so, their slogan has been ‘Defend the Land’ for the entirety of this NBA season. It’s also the slogan they’ve carried it into the postseason.

Over the last couple seasons, the Golden State Warriors’ playoff slogan has been “Strength in Numbers.” Unfortunately, it’s hard to go with “Strength in Numbers” again since they let half their roster go to acquire Kevin Durant in free agency last summer. Their strength is no longer in numbers and the balance of their roster, but rather in their four All-Stars in Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Kevin Durant. Because of that, the Warriors have opted to change their playoff slogan to “Defend Our Ground.” Sound at all familiar?

Yeah, it’s pretty original.
