The Golden State Warriors caused quite a stir when their new slogan and t-shirts for this year’s playoffs looked very similar to that of their Eastern Conference rivals’. With the Cleveland Cavaliers using “Defend the Land,” the Dubs unveiled what they came come up with, and used “Defend our Ground” instead.
That did not sit well with Cavs fans, as well as the Twitterverse, as they trolled the Warriors for “copying” from the defending champions’ marketing strategy.

This adds more fuel to their rivalry, especially with both teams heavily favored once again to come out of their respective conferences and compete for the title in the NBA Finals.
For now, both teams will have to make sure they do not take their opponents lightly, to allow them to continue their supremacy, and meet in the finals for the third straight year.
