LeBron James has recently come under fire after reports came out of nowhere that he was the cause of David Blatt’s firing. Everyone from the media to fans were criticizing the most criticized player the NBA has ever seen. That’s nothing new
James spoke with members of the media ahead of the Cavs game against the Suns to respond to some of the criticism, ESPN’s Dave McMenamin reports:
“I think it does suck that people want to throw my name in the dirt. It sucks,” James said. “But what can I do about it? I’ve never, in my time since I picked up a basketball, ever undermined a coach, ever disrespected a coach. You ask any of my little league coaches, my high school coaches, coaches I’ve played for in tournaments, camps, my NBA coaches. I’ve always respected what they wanted to do. And I’m not the owner of a team, I’m not the GM of a team. I’m the player of a team.”

This past Friday, the rumors and James’ reaction were on every site and all over social media. It even reached one Laker legend, Magic Johnson, and he was not happy about the rumors at all. He took to Twitter to defend James and fire back at his critics.
