The Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Sacramento Kings tonight in the second-to-last game before the All-Star break. Ahead of the game however, they may be added incentive for the Cavs tonight against the Kings.

Kings coach George Karl spoke with members of the media about the Celtics before his Kings and Celtics faced off yesterday, and Jimmy Toscano of Comcast Sportsnet reports: on some of the things Karl said.
“I think NBA players play hard. It’s the teams that have the talent to play harder than their opponent is what the Celtics have,” Karl said. “In a 48-minute game it’s not dominant. But they have those five-minute moments, or those 15-possession moments where their energy is substantially stronger than their opponent. Some of it comes because they’re a defensive team that creates turnovers. Some of it comes from young kids fighting for minutes. Coach Stevens does a great job of pushing buttons and keeping everyone highly motivated. They’re a fun team.
“I watched three films on them. The Cleveland game, because we play Cleveland tomorrow, I’ll tell you what. They have a chance against Cleveland.”

Interesting that Karl would say that, as Cleveland essentially gave that game away and didn’t have Kevin Love for the end of it. His own team however, probably won’t have as much luck, as teams led by LeBron James’ won 14 of the last 15 games against the Kings. If the Cavs come out on fire tonight, don’t be surprised.
