Today, fathers across the globe celebrated their special day.

With the 2016-17 season a thing of the past, a lot of NBA dads are finally getting the chance to spend some quality time with their family, including Cleveland Cavaliers sharpshooter J.R. Smith.

As most hoops fans know, Smith and his family endured quite a difficult season. His daughter, Dakota, was born nearly five months premature in February, but has since been released from the NICU ward.

Today, Smith’s eldest daughters, Demi and Peyton, took to social media to show their appreciation with a heartfelt video message.
