J.R. Smith’s Cavalier teammates are working out in Santa Barbara, California this week ahead of next week’s training camp. He is currently not with them as he is without a contract.
When the news that Smith would miss the team’s mini camp came out, he took to Instagram to show his feelings about it. He used a photo of his new puppy Cowboy who looked bored and almost sad.

Smith is expected to re-sign with the Cavs, but it’s very tough to predict just when that will happen.
