Whether it’s the big shot at the end of a quarter or that crowd-pleasing dunk, players understandably like to show off their emotion as well as swagger after big plays. In football, when players score a touch down, they have a little victory dance to celebrate their play.

Terrelle Pryor, a member of the Cleveland Browns, did the LeBron James stomp and chest pump after scoring a touchdown against the Washington Redskins. Now, it looks like he could actually get fined for doing it. Pryor spoke with members of the media after the game.

The NFL has been issuing punishments and fines for “choreographed celebrations” as they’re called. Here’s the official section on celebrations from the NFL Rulebook, via SB Nation:
There shall be no unsportsmanlike conduct. This applies to any act which is contrary to the generally understood principles of sportsmanship. Such acts specifically include, among others:
…
e. Prolonged or excessive celebrations or demonstrations by an individual player. Players are prohibited from engaging in any celebrations or demonstrations while on the ground. A celebration or demonstration shall be deemed excessive or prolonged if a player continues to celebrate or demonstrate after a warning from an official.
f. Two or more players engaging in prolonged, excessive, premeditated, or choreographed celebrations or demonstrations.
Clearly, the NFL considers celebrating like LeBron James a choreographed celebration or taunting. It was great to see Pryor gave a shout out to the King with the stomp celebration.
