The Cleveland Cavaliers let their fans down with an embarrassing performance in Game 4 of the 2026 Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Knicks on Sunday.

While the Cavs entered the contest virtually eliminated from NBA title contention, as no other team in the history of the league has ever won a series after losing the first three games, many expected Cleveland to at least put up a fight and go down swinging.

That was exactly not what happened at Rocket Arena in Cleveland.

The Knicks completed a sweep of the Cavaliers with a lopsided victory to the tune of a 130-93 score.

Earlier in Game 4, former Cavs star Ron Harper voiced his disappointment with the effort he saw from Cleveland on the floor.

“Being a @cavs ex player it’s disappointing seeing them lay down and the coach being unaccountable in the series. It’s the eastern conference finals and you lay down don’t just blame James harden look at it all!!!!!” the 62-year-old Harper shared via a social media post on X, formerly Twitter.

Harper knows what it takes to win in the NBA. While he never reached the top of the league during his time with the Cavs, he won five NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Cavs are now back to the drawing board after yet another frustrating end to their playoff campaign. It will be an interesting summer ahead for Cleveland, which reached the East finals for the first time since LeBron James and company did in 2018.
