The Cleveland Cavaliers are in a win-or-go-home situation heading into Game 4, as there’s a chance that they could get swept by the New York Knicks. The Cavs are going to have to play some of their best basketball to avoid the sweep, and they have to take one game at a time if they want any chance of making history.
Donovan Mitchell is calling out to the fans before Game 4 and sent out his “LetEmKnow” tweet.
So far at home, it seems as if Knicks fans have been taking over Cleveland, and the Cavs noticed it after Game 3.
“I’m from New York, this doesn’t shock me. They do it in every arena. That’s how Knicks fans are. I was one back in the day,” Mitchell said.
“We just have to realize that they’re gonna come––they’re gonna come deep,” Jarrett Allen said.
Regardless if the Cavs fans show up or not, the team will have to play at a high level. Mitchell has delivered in almost every game, but it hasn’t been enough for them to get one win. It’s the other players around him that are going to have to step up, such as James Harden and Evan Mobley.
One thing the Cavs have shown throughout the postseason is that they thrive being down, just like they were against the Detroit Pistons. If the Cavs can just get one game, there’s no telling what could happen if the series is extended, and they have the talent on the team to make things interesting.
