The Cleveland Cavaliers have found themselves down 3-0 against the New York Knicks, and it’s going to take some sense of urgency for them to get back into the series. After Game 3, Mobley kept it simple on what the Cavs have to do if they want to keep their postseason alive.

“Get the next one, that’s all we can do – backs against the wall. We all just have to be better, as a team, defensively, and better offensively as well. It’s a few things we can definitely clean up,” Mobley said.

The Cavs fought from behind for all of Game 4, and they just couldn’t get into a rhythm. It was the 3-point shooting that hurt them in this one, as they only shot 29%. On the other side, they didn’t do much to contain the Knicks on offense, as Jalen Brunson finished with 30 points.

With the Cavs down 3-0, Mitchell took a step back after Game 3 and noted how they got into this situation, and what they’ll have to do to get out.

“We blew an opportunity in game one, we didn’t shoot well in game two. We didn’t shoot well and we didn’t really guard well tonight. Those are the three losses. So we have an opportunity to change that game four, and then go to New York,” Mitchell said.

The Cavs were down in their series against the Detroit Pistons and came back to win in seven games, but the Knicks are a completely different team. It’s going to take everything the Cavs have to get a game, but that’s all they need to worry about at this point, instead of trying to get all three to tie the series.

It will also be interesting to see if Kenny Atkinson makes any lineup changes ahead of Game 4 with their season on the line.
