With the NBA season already halfway through, it could only mean one thing. The answer to whether or not LeBron James will be returning back to Cleveland in the offseason is inching closer and closer. This free agency market this summer is going to be one for ages, as star James could have a wide variety of options to select from.
Could one of his reasonings be due to pairing up with another NBA player to make the ultimate team? Good news for the fans is that question has already been answered by some NBA players. According to a recent ESPN Confidential Poll, some players think the star player should join a couple of NBA studs on the court.
Here are the following results from the question: Which player do you think LeBron should pair up with?
Giannis Antetokounmpo: 12 percent, Chris Paul: 12 percent, Dwyane Wade: 12 percent, Paul George: 9 percent, James Harden: 9 percent, Kawhi Leonard: 9 percent, Other: 37 percent.
Looking at the results of the poll, it seems that most of the league has voted for James to either pair up with Giannis Antetokounmpo, Chris Paul or Dwyane Wade. Currently, Antetokounmpo is a member of the Milwaukee bucks, Paul a member of the Houston Rockets and lastly Wade returning back to the Miami Heat.
If James were to leave Cleveland to join any of those players or vice versa with them joining him in Ohio, anyone of those selections would be an interesting and fun combination for him. One Eastern Conference forward even has high hopes for James and Harden.
“The duo of LeBron and Harden would be unstoppable.” — Eastern Conference forward.
Either way, a lot will have to go down in order for James to pair up with these players, but don’t rule anything out quite yet.
