LeBron James’ legs have logged a lot of minutes. James have been to the NBA Finals seven consecutive times. Also consider the heavy minutes he has been playing to carry the teams he has been.
But it seems that LeBron can take all the toll in his body. He isn’t going to rest any time soon.
You have to appreciate LeBron’s greatness not just on how he plays the game, but also on how he stays athletic and healthy to actually play the game.
He’s never had a serious injury that has caused him to miss significant time on the court. Most of his missed time are scheduled and voluntary rests.
When you think about it, it’s actually funny that The King has experienced criticism before for resting, as if he doesn’t deserve a short break from logging many minutes on a consistent basis for several years in a row.
But critics will be silent for a long time after LeBron’s comments of planning to play every game.
In a tactical point of view, LeBron playing every game is also not such a bad idea. The Cleveland Cavaliers will need all the help they can get.
The East is looking nasty lately. The Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors are legitimate threats while the Miami Heat are also trying to get into the picture.
If the Cavaliers want to increase their chances of getting out of the East, they will need the best player in the world.
