The reunion is on, Cavs fans. LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, together again. A duo of superstars that won two NBA championships together with the Miami Heat.

On Tuesday afternoon, word came down the wire stating that Wade, who recently received a buyout from the Chicago Bulls, and the Cavs, had agreed to the terms of a one-year, $2.3 million deal.

After Wednesday’s practice session at Cleveland Clinic Courts in Independence, Ohio, James spoke with Fred McLeod of Fox Sports Ohio about the Cavs’ addition of Wade — his long-time friend.

“I’m happy we kept him away from other teams,” James said. “He’s one of my best friends. He’s a dynamic piece who adds more depth.”

Since they are such close friends, James says he and Wade can truly be honest with one another.

“(We can be) honest with each other and can get on each other,” James continued. “It’s a brotherhood we have.”

Wade, now 35 years of age, is an incredible addition to what was already a solid Cavaliers team. In his 60 games played for the Bulls last season, the 12-time NBA All Star averaged 18.3 points on 43 percent shooting from the field, 4.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.4 steals in 29.9 minutes per contest.

Wade is expected to officially sign with the Cavaliers as early as today (Wednesday), according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The only hold-up is waivers from his buyout with the Bulls. Once those are finalized, Cavs fans should see him on the practice court in a wine and gold uniform.
