Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Isaiah Thomas seems to be getting frustrated with answering questions about his offseason trade.
Most hoops fans know the story… In what became one of the biggest deals of the summer, two future Draft picks, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, and Thomas, now 28 years of age, were traded to the Cavs from the Boston Celtics for Kyrie Irving.
Since his arrival in Cleveland, Thomas has been continuously drilled with a slough of questions about the trade from reporters, and it sounds like he’s tired of talking about it. The two-time All Star sent out a pair of tweets on Tuesday morning to clarify his position on the matter.

Thomas has been recovering from a hip injury he sustained in last season’s Eastern Conference Playoffs, but by most accounts, he’s nearing a return. In fact, the crafty ball-handler has already taken part in several practices with no ill effects, and some have said he could be available during the Cavs’ current West Coast road trip.
In his 76 games played for the Celtics last season, Thomas turned in some of the best statistical figures of his life, averaging a career-high 28.9 points on 46 percent shooting from the field (38 percent from beyond the arc), 5.9 assists, and 2.7 rebounds — all while knocking down 91 percent of his free-throws.
An actual date for Thomas’ Cavs debut has not been set, but there is no doubt he’s itching to take the floor. He’s often the first one off the bench cheering for his new teammates.
