Cleveland Cavaliers forward Cedi Osman has been sidelined for roughly two weeks due to a hip flexor injury. However, the former Turkish Cup winner (2015) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday night’s road game against the Charlotte Hornets, according to a report from Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com.

Osman, a 22-year-old rookie, has played well for the Cavs thus far. In his 54 games played, the Macedonian-born swingman has recorded averages of 3.6 points on 51.0 percent shooting from the field (39.1 percent from beyond the arc), 1.9 rebounds and 0.5 assists.

On Wednesday afternoon, Osman hinted at his possible return with a message to his followers on Twitter. It looks like he’s excited to rejoin his teammates.

In other Cavs injury news, Kevin Love has been ruled out for Wednesday night’s game. The former UCLA standout took an elbow to the face in the first quarter of Tuesday’s 98-79 loss in Miami to the Heat. According to several reports, Love displayed concussion-like symptoms after taking the blow. After an evaluation the following morning (Wednesday), Love was placed under the NBA’s concussion protocol program.

Wednesday night’s Cavs-Hornets game is scheduled to tip at 7:00 p.m. EST inside the Spectrum Center with NBA TV, FOX Sports Ohio and FOX Sports Southeast having live broadcast coverage. With less than 10 games remaining on their schedules, both teams will be looking to close out the regular season on a high note.
