it looks like the J.R. Smith contract standoff is over. According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Cavs and Smith have agreed to a four-year, $57 million deal. The deal will pay him $14.25 million annually.

The Cavs previous offer was a four year deal around $42 million, which would have paid him a little over $10 million a year. Now that Smith has been re-signed, the Cavs can go back to focusing on the rest of the preseason as well as the title defense this season.
