Although the Cleveland Cavaliers have struggled to find their stride as of late, LeBron James is trying to remain positive.
The Cavs, now the 3rd-ranked team in the Eastern Conference standings with a 30-21 overall record, suffered one of their worst defeats of the season on Saturday night — a 120-88 ram-rodding from the Houston Rockets. It was Cleveland’s eighth loss in twelve games, and most fans of the team are wondering what the heck is going on.
After Monday’s shoot-around in Orlando, James, now 33 years of age and in his 15th season of NBA service, took a few moments to enjoy a rather large cigar, one of his favorite pastimes. The King shared two photos with his followers on social media.
“Love my life!,” James wrote in the caption of his photo. “Nothing can take the joy. #LiveLaughLove”
Before anyone starts offering James an ashtray, remember that it’s proper etiquette to let the ash build. Knocking all the ash off can cause the cigar to burn too hot, which will affect its taste. There are more do’s and don’ts of cigar smoking, but let’s move on…
“What now for this team?,” Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com asked James after Monday’s practice.
“What do you mean?,” James replied with a raised eyebrow. “We get ready to play (on Tuesday). We’re gonna prepare like we did today. We’re gonna prepare tomorrow in shoot-around, and before the game we’re gonna prepare for the Magic. So that’s what’s now.”
James and the Cavs will square off against the Magic inside the Amway Center at 7:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday night. Fox Sports Ohio and Fox Sports Florida will have live broadcast coverage. Let’s see if they can get back into the win column.
