Similar to how he brought life to the game during his playing days, Magic Johnson is still quite an item as he never fails to light up conversations with his in-depth knowledge of the game coupled with a few bold statements here and there.

Just recently, he shared to everyone via Twitter his fearless forecast on the powers that be in the often-underestimated Eastern Conference.
Looking at it now, only 2 teams from the East could win the NBA Championship, Cleveland and Miami.

There’s not much to argue with the NBA Hall of Famer on this topic.
Miami packs a very solid starting lineup anchored on Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh with support from Goran Dragic, Luol Deng, and Hassan Whiteside. Those are four All Star-caliber players and one breakout player from last season that we’re talking about. Meanwhile, one can make a reliable second five out of their bench with Mario Chalmers, Gerald Green, Justise Winslow, Amare Stoudemire, and Josh McRoberts holding forth their respective positions.
On Cleveland’s end, we all know how LeBron James and Matthew Dellavedova gave Golden State some serious scare in their finals matchup. Now, the Cavs are extremely bent on parading a healthy lineup when they step on the clutch stages of the season once more. Their main trump card is obviously the four-time Most Valuable Player whom, from recent memory, has gotten high praises from Magic Johnson himself.
After the first 3 games LeBron James should be on everybody's Mt. Rushmore…including mine!

Three future Hall Of Famers that could've played when MJ, Bird and I were playing are Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.

Outside of the Cavaliers and Heat, teams like the Chicago Bulls and Atlanta Hawks might take offense to Johnson’s statement, however, the clear-cut favorite to come out of the East in June remains to be the men in Wine and Gold.
