The Cleveland Cavaliers recent bad-blooded history with the Chicago Bulls goes back to LeBron James’ first stint with the Cavs. Joakim Noah has always hated on Cleveland, James, and the Cavs, and a lot of that has fueled them.

With the Cavs sitting comfortably at the top spot in the East and just one win away from clinching the number one spot in the East, tomorrow night’s game vs. Chicago could end up being a huge game.
Chicago is in win-or-go-home mode and are hoping that Detroit and Indiana both lose some games down the stretch. If Indiana defeats Toronto tonight, they will clinch a playoff spot with a win at Toronto, eliminate the Bulls, and would give the Cavs the number one seed and home-court advantage throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs. If the Pacers lose, they keep Chicago’s and Toronto’s hopes alive for another day.
Because Detroit won the season series against the Bulls 3-1, a win for the Pistons against the Wizards tonight would guarantee them a playoff spot, but would not eliminate the Bulls because Chicago did win the season series against the Indiana Pacers. Complicated, I know. Here’s what the season series between them looks like:
IND 3 – DET 1
DET 3 – CHI 1
CHI 3 – IND 1

If everything goes well, LeBron James and the Cavs can officially eliminate the Bulls from the playoffs AND clinch the number one seed in the East with a win over the Bulls tomorrow night in Chicago.
How fitting would it be to see Chicago sent home once again by a LeBron led Cavs team.
