While other teams, especially the Golden State Warriors, did major roster changes, the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers opted to stay lowkey.
Afterall, they have proven that their core has the capability of turning it on when the time is right as evidenced by the difference in their regular season and postseason performances. The consistency and hunger between those two stages were day-and-night.

Heading into the title-defense season, things are expected to become much more difficult. Everyone’s eyes will be on their backs, and opponents will be studying the Cavs’ tendencies on a deeper level.
Three new additions to the Wine and Gold side that have taken less attention than other teams’ all figure to play very important roles in Cleveland’s back-to-back hopes this year. Kay Felder, the dynamic rookie, Chris Andersen, the veteran enforcer, and Mike Dunleavy, the savvy shooter, are the new names fans at The Q will be cheering for when the season tips off.
