The Cleveland Cavaliers are on a new win streak. After seeing their 13-game unbeaten run end last week against the Indiana Pacers, the Cavs are in it again, stringing together four-straight victories, including Saturday’s 109-100 win over the Utah Jazz at Quicken Loans Arena.
As usual, it’s LeBron James who provided the best numbers and the loudest firework in the game. James recorded his second-consecutive triple-double, scoring 29 points on an efficient 9-of-15 shooting from the field, making 10 assists, and grabbing 11 rebounds, but those dizzying figures shouldn’t make us forget that The King did this.
Come for the dunk. Stay for the reaction.
Turning defense into instant offense, Cavs big man Tristan Thompson tapped the ball from Jazz guard Ricky Rubio. James then picked the leather, passed the ball to J.R. Smith, who set James up for a picture-perfect left-handed alley-oop throwdown.
LeBron James had a cool reaction to his dunk, too. Following the slam, the Cavs star took a pause at the baseline and stared at his left hand as though he can’t believe that he just completed a dunk with his off-hand.
James is less than two weeks away from turning 33, but if his hops in this game were any indication, he’s still got plenty of juice left on his legs.
