Though heā€™s a native of Akron, Ohio, itā€™s a fairly well-known fact that Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James has a certain affinity for the Dallas Cowboys, as well as some of the teamā€™s players.

As a gift, James, who was a standout football player in his own right at St. Vincent-St. Maryā€™s High School, decided to send a pair of his LeBron 15ā€™s in the ā€œAshesā€ colorway to Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, his long-time friend.

This isnā€™t the first time the King has sent Dez a gift. Prior to the start of this yearā€™s NFL season, James sent Bryant a special care package, which included a set of Beats by Dre headphones and a pair of LeBronā€™s Soldier line of kicks. Bryant sent out a tweet to express his gratitude, citing Jamesā€™ famous ā€œStrive for greatnessā€ message in hashtag form.

In 2015, James sent Bryant a package containing a special edition pair of LeBron 12ā€™s and several cans of Spriteā€™s popular beverage, ā€œLeBronā€™s Mix.ā€

It seems as though the bond between James, a known motivator, and Bryant, one of the best to ever catch a football, is as strong as ever. Letā€™s see if Dez counters LeBron with a care package of his own.
