Despite already shown in cinemas more than two weeks ago, Cleveland Cavaliers star forward LeBron James only saw the movie Black Panther recently. He was asked to give his thoughts about it and he had nothing but good words to say, even adding that it was one of the best he’s ever watched.

The former four-time MVP also shared that his kids even saw it ahead of him, particularly his two sons. James then compared the plot of the movie, via Cavs Nation’s own Nikki Goel, to the time Michael Jordan came in to the league when Larry Bird was dominating the Eastern Conference back in the 1980s, which is a unique take on it.

With his busy schedule, especially involving practices, games and his participation during the All-Star Weekend, it’s quite understandable why James saw the movie late. However, he also made sure that he gets to spend some quality time with his family, by being just any ordinary one, watching movies together.

It can be recalled that James has been compared to the Marvel character by Gregg Popovich, even calling it “cool” for the younger generation to see him play that role for them in the real world. The King gave a simple response to it, saying that the San Antonio Spurs head coach is one of the favorite people he has come across in his life. He could now be even more inspired by the high praise given by the veteran head coach, and James also has a deeper understanding of why he compared him to the Black Panther after seeing the movie recently.
