It is back to square one for the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Detroit Pistons in their second-round series in the playoffs. The Cavaliers defeated the Detroit Pistons, 112-103, in Game 4 at Rocket Arena on Monday to tie the best-of-seven affair at 2-2.

The Cavaliers leaned on Donovan Mitchell’s historic performance in the second half, scoring 39 points.

Evan Mobley also came up big, tallying all-around norms of 17 points, eight rebounds, five assists, three steals, and five blocks.

After the game, he mentioned the things they need to do to overcome the Pistons on the road, as they lost the first two games at Little Caesars Arena. Game 5 returns to Detroit on Wednesday.

“Play our brand of basketball. We gotta play fast, not let their pressure get to us, win our spots, and keep moving the ball. When the ball is moving, we get easy shots. That’s our best brand of basketball,” said Mobley.

The 24-year-old forward was chastised in Game 2 for only having one rebound, although Mitchell and Jarrett Allen came to his defense.

Mobley’s production in the playoffs has been silent, but that is not necessarily bad for the Cavaliers. His willingness to do the intangibles could help Cleveland get over the hump.

He logged 13 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and two blocks in their win in Game 3.

Fans have urged coach Kenny Atkinson to give more touches to Mobley and Jarrett Allen instead of mainly relying on Mitchell and James Harden.

Mitchell finished with 43 points on 13-of-26 shooting in Game 4. Harden scored 24 points on 5-of-14 marksmanship.
