The Cleveland Cavaliers need to get their act right as soon as possible if they want to keep in step with the Detroit Pistons in their second-round series in the playoffs.

The top-seeded Pistons have walked over the fourth-seeded Cavaliers to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven matchup. Detroit owned Game 2, 107-97, at Little Caesars Arena on Thursday.

If there is one player who should be consistent for Cleveland, it is Evan Mobley. He only had nine points and one rebound in Game 2, although he had three steals and three blocks.

After the game, Jarrett Allen was asked about Mobley only grabbing one rebound. Allen chose to highlight the positive.

“In things like this, Evan contributed to them (Pistons) not getting a lot of offensive rebounds. He took himself out of a lot of plays, he tried to make sure that somebody else got the defensive rebound,” said Allen.

“One rebound isn’t a lot, but the impact that he had on the glass was a lot more than that.”

Donovan Mitchell, who was seated beside Allen, nodded in agreement.

The 24-year-old Mobley had 14 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and two blocks in Game 1.

He averaged 9.0 rebounds in the regular season and 8.6 rebounds in the first round against the Toronto Raptors.

Game 3 is on Saturday at Rocket Arena.
