Evan Mobley put himself with some elite company that features LeBron James following the Cleveland Cavaliers’ game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday night.

In 36 minutes of action, Mobley finished with a stat line of 25 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists, and three blocks. He shot 10-of-20 from the field, including 4-of-6 from the free-throw line.

This performance was significant for Mobley, becoming the first Cavaliers player since James to reach those numbers in a game, per StatMuse.

It was a nail-biting day for Evan Mobley and the Cleveland Cavaliers, going down to the wire against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Grizzlies put up a strong fight, having six players score in double-digits as they kept the Cavaliers on edge. However, Cleveland had enough offensive production to counter their opponent’s firepower, defend homecourt, and earn a solid win over a tough team from the Western Conference.

Donovan Mitchell led the way with 33 points and six assists on 11-of-23 shooting, including 4-of-8 from downtown. Ty Jerome scored 26 points, Jarrett Allen had 13 points and 10 rebounds while De’Andre Hunter provided 12 points.

Cleveland improved to 47-10 on the season, maintaining control over the top spot of the Eastern Conference standings. They have a six-game advantage over the second-place Boston Celtics, building their case as potential title contenders this year.

Following Sunday’s win over the Grizzlies, marking their seventh straight, Evan Mobley and the Cavaliers prepare for their next matchup. They face the Orlando Magic on Feb. 25 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
