After 12 years with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team has decided to trade Anderson Varejao to the Portland Trailblazers in a three team deal for Channing Frye. The original deal discussed yesterday had Varejao going to Orlando, but Portland joined in to make the deal work and send Andy to the West coast.

Varejao’s career with the Cavs finished with averages of 7.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.2 assist, 0.9 steals, and 0.7 blocks. Andy played 591 games with the Cavs, and will now head to the Portland Trailblazers. In Andy’s best season, he averaged 14.1 points, 14.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game.
Channing Frye has career averages of 9.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.7 blocks, but has always seemed to play sparingly. In his best season, he averaged 12.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.6 steals, and 1.0 blocks while also shooting 39% from downtown and hitting 2.2 three-pointers per game.
