The Cleveland Cavaliers visited the Miami Heat sans LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. As expected, the defending champions came out of AmericanAirlines Arena on the receiving end of the South Beach team’s hot shooting, 92-120.
While this game looked bleak for the Cavs from the get-go, a semblance of intensity still found its way to the visitors’ bench as J.R. Smith got fired up when the final buzzer sounded. Apparently, Smith’s attention was directed at Dion Waiters as the two ended up exchanging sweet nothings.

It can be noticed in the video below how Smith, from the bench, appears to take exception at Rodney McGruder’s extra-curricular motion after his dunk. It’s not yet determined, but it could very well be the moment that triggered it all.

These two teams play again on Monday, so curious eyes will be trained on that game with James and Irving most likely playing. If there wasn’t enough motivation tonight, they have one now to light up their insides.
