According to a report from The Players’ Tribune, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas is set for the release of his highly-anticipated documentary series, Book of Isaiah II. Chapter 1 of the new program, which chronicles Thomas’ life, as well as his trade from Boston to Cleveland, will be released on November 16th.

“Welcome to Book of Isaiah II, a documentary series that chronicles the life of Isaiah Thomas as he faces the challenges of playing for a new team. Featuring exclusive footage and commentary, Book of Isaiah II traces Thomas’ personal and professional journey since the 2017 NBA playoffs.”

As most hoops fans know, Thomas is expected to be out of commission until sometime around January due to the hip injury he sustained in March and aggravated during last season’s playoffs. However, there have been some reports indicating that the crafty ball-handler might be slightly ahead of schedule with regards to his return.

“You may have read stories about me,” Thomas said in the show’s promotional trailer. “You may have watched me play basketball. I’m a basketball player. I’m a father, a husband. The things you may have read about me do not define me.”

Without a doubt, Isaiah Thomas is itching to get back on the floor. In fact, the former Washington Huskies standout is often seen hoisting shots with his Cavs teammates during pregame routines, despite the fact that he’s still recovering.

When he’s able to suit up for in-game action, Thomas will likely be looking to make an immediate impact. In his 76 games played for the Celtics last season, the two-time All Star racked up some of the best statistical figures of his career, averaging a career-high 28.9 points on 46 percent shooting from the field (career-high), 5.2 assists, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.0 steal in 33.8 minutes per game. For now, though, Cavs fans will have to wait just a bit longer for his on-court debut.
