Dwyane Wade is taking his new teammate Isaiah Thomas’ side when it comes to his feelings toward Boston Celtics president Danny Ainge, who pulled the trigger on a trade that sent him to the Cleveland Cavaliers earlier this summer.

Thomas said that he would likely not talk to Ainge ever again during an interview on Wednesday, noting that the way he was traded was unacceptable after giving his all to the franchise during his two-and-a-half year stay.

Thomas noted there was no ill will toward anyone in the Celtics team or the city, but was seen hurt by how everything took place.

The 5-foot-9 scoring point guard was on his way back from a one-year anniversary vacation with his wife Kayla before he received a call from Ainge informing him about the trade that had just taken place.

Thomas had grown fond of Boston and the city had grown fond of Thomas during his short stint in Bean Town, even more so after the entire city rallied behind him after the loss of his sister Chyna only a day before the start of the NBA playoffs.

The Washington native had engrained himself in the culture of the city before the trade took place, making this the third time he’s been traded in his career after stints with the Sacramento Kings and the Phoenix Suns.
