Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James is continuing to show basketball fans around the globe why he is still considered the best player in today’s game. Just how good has he been, though? Aside from the fact that the Cavs have won 18 of their last 19 games, which includes 11 straight victories at home, the King has managed to rattle off three consecutive triple-doubles, passing Larry Bird for the No. 6 spot on the NBA’s all-time list.
In his last five games, James, now 32 years of age and in his 15th season of NBA service, has recorded a grand total of 67 assists, which is, believe it or not, the most he’s posted over any five-game stretch in his career.

Stop to appreciate this stat for a moment. James is a man who’s known for his passing prowess, to be sure. But over 13 assists per game over that span? …Truly remarkable.
In his 31 appearances with the Cavs this season, James has posted some of the best statistical figures of his career, averaging 27.8 points on 57 percent shooting from the field (40 percent from beyond the arc), 9.3 assists (career-high), and 8.5 rebounds per game.
With no signs of regression, it seems the sky is the limit for James. He seems to be more motivated than ever, and that is nothing but bad news for opposing sides.
