The highly anticipated Finals rematch between the Cavs and Warriors did not disappoint, as Kyrie Irving hit the game-winner to give the Warriors deja vu from last June.

It was a superb game, but the Cavaliers had the Warriors’ number in the fourth quarter yet again, as they erased a 14-point deficit to come out on top in front of a rocking Cleveland crowd. With a playoff-type atmosphere, the Cavs further added to their mental advantage over the Dubs.

With that dramatic victory, the Warriors left the Q with a sour taste in their mouth, and it showed the following days. It was so gut wrenching for them, that media personnel found a video of the Cavaliers championship last June playing in their practice facility the days after the defeat.

One of the media members in the room asked why they’ve picked this particular game to show on the TV, which promoted the response of, “it’s on repeat till June, trying to motivate them.”

The footage was delivered by Sam Amico, who was also surprised with the choice of game.

It looks as though the Cavaliers’ championship last season still cuts deep within the Warriors camp. Their loss to the Cavs on Christmas Day wouldn’t have helped their cause, as the Cavs have now won four straight games against the Warriors since they were 3-1 down in the Finals.

Stay tuned, this isn’t the last you’ve seen of this growing rivalry.
