LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Love were expected to carry this team throughout the regular season and into the playoffs. Although the Cavs did win 57 games on the season, the Big Three did not live up to expectations with Irving and Love going through inconsistencies throughout the year.

All that has changed, however, since the playoffs began. James, Irving, and Love have been clicking like the league’s best trio this postseason. Irving has averaged 26.3 points, 2.0 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.3 steals, and 4.0 three pointers per game. James has averaged 23 points, 8.3 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.0 three pointer per game. Kevin Love has also added 21.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 2.6 three-pointers per game.

Together, the Cavs trio has led a demolition of the Pistons and are now one game away from sweeping their first round series.

After the game, coach Tyronn Lue said this the best he’s seen the Big Three play together, and LeBron James agreed.
