Kevin Love struggled once again in the NBA Finals, scoring just two points and three rebounds in Game 5. This game, however, was all about Kyrie Irving and LeBron James. With the duo combining for 82 points, no Cavalier took more than nine shots (J.R. Smith went 3-9).

Although it didn’t seem like he had a big impact on the game, Love had the second highest +/- of the game. A +/- of +18, right behind Irving’s +21, showed that the Cavs were vastly better with Love on the floor. He honestly played some decent defense on the pick-and-rolls while Curry and Thompson hit some tough shots.

In Wednesday’s media availability, LeBron James discussed Love’s struggles and how important he will be to what the Cavs want to do in Game 6, and hopefully, Game 7.
