Sometimes, words no longer need to be said for a message to be expressed. That’s what Cleveland Cavaliers GM David Griffin tried to relay to the media when he announced the firing of David Blatt. He claimed that there wasn’t any need for him to get the players’ thoughts before making the tough decision.
It was also revealed that he called in the players during their off-day to break the news. However, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst shared via Twitter the surprise within the team.

It was already shocking among the players to learn that their coach was fired after piloting their team to an NBA Finals appearance with a badly depleted lineup and steering the Cavs to the best record in the Eastern Conference up until the halfway mark of the current season.
But when some of them actually thought that Love was being traded, it brings up the question if something else is going on.
