Cavs rumors: Cleveland radio host claims LeBron James is ‘roster adjusting’ before free agency decision

As a return for LeBron James to the Cleveland Cavaliers appears in the card,s as the superstar still has yet to decide on his upcoming season, there could be work from other teams looking to appease the 41-year-old. As rumors surround James and the Cavs, this radio host in Cleveland would report on what is happening with each of the suitors.

According to Tony Rizzo on ESPN Cleveland, James is “roster adjusting” for any of the interested teams, referencing the last time he left the Miami Heat for the Cavs, where Kevin Love came on the team, and Andrew Wiggins was sent off.

“What I’m hearing, and what I was told, makes a lot of sense. Do you know what LeBron’s doing right now? And by the way, it could be for Cleveland, or it could be for another team. He’s roster adjusting,” Rizzo said. “Now let’s see. The last time he came back, Wiggins was out. K-Love was in. That came out of nowhere.”

“Who could it be this time? Jarrett Allen’s name’s got to come up. I don’t know. Harden? Kendrick Perkins said yesterday on ‘First Take’ that LeBron’s waiting for the Cavs to make a move,” Rizzo continued. “So, do I think LeBron’s made up his mind? 90 percent. But like any big decision in your career, you leave your options open to the very end.”

At any rate, it remains to be seen what moves Cleveland could make that would improve their chances of obtaining James via free agency, though they are far from the only team in the sweepstakes.

Other than the Cavs, James is considering another reunion with the Heat, or other teams such as the Golden State Warriors, the Philadelphia 76ers, the Denver Nuggets, the Minnesota Timberwolves, and maybe others.
