It’s no secret that R&B superstar Rihanna is a fan of LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. She has been watching their games live before and did the same on Thursday night when the Cavs faced off against the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

However, nothing went according to plan for the visiting team as they were blown out by the Dubs 113-91, to take a 1-0 lead in the series. The Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter was captured on video in the tunnel, making her way out of the court receiving some trash talking from her friends. While one of them told Rihanna off for her team losing, she replied by defending King James by saying “”It doesn’t matter b***h, the King was still the King.

Rihanna did make a strong point as James still finished the game with 28 points, 15 rebounds, eight assists and two blocks. But the biggest concern for them now is their defense as they gave away way too many easy looks to the Warriors and even appeared lost in multiple defensive switches.

It’s still unknown whether Rihanna will watch the next game live once again, or wait until the series heads to Cleveland. However, if there’s one thing certain at this point, it is that she is hopeful the team can bounce back quickly from the beating they received in Game 1. The more players that can contribute to their cause, the better chance they’ll have of winning Game 2.
