One of the Cavaliers main priorities this summer aside from re-signing J.R. Smith is to try and re-sign Matthew Dellavedova. Delly is expected to command anywhere around $8-10 million per year in this free agency, and according to Chris Haynes of Cleveland.com.

Cleveland Cavaliers restricted free agent guard Matthew Dellavedova is receiving some early interest during the start of free agency.

The Sacramento Kings, Atlanta Hawks, Dallas Mavericks and Milwaukee Bucks have all reached out to the camp of the Australian backup point guard to gauge interest, league sources informed cleveland.com.

The interest is mutual, I’m told.

The Cavaliers have let it be known that they would like to retain his services, but it could potentially get too pricey for them. At this juncture, contract dialogue hasn’t taken place. It remains a feeling out period.

Haynes also notes that Delly will not be meeting with suitors, but will instead be training and preparing for the 2016 Olympics in Rio in Australia.
