The Cleveland Cavaliers took out the Detroit Pistons in Game 1 of the first round last night, but it wasn’t without some questionable moves.
The Cavs had nine guys see game action last night, but there wasn’t much production outside of the Big 3 of James, Irving, and Love. While those three scored 81 points on 63 shots, the rest of the team scored 25 points on 25 shots. J.R. Smith struggled shooting just 3-9, Matthew Delavedova was just 3-8, and Timofey Mozgov played a miserable five minutes in the first half in which the Cavs were outscored by five points.

One player who surprisingly didn’t see any court time was Channing Frye. With the Cavs using Kevin Love at the five spot and luring Andre Drummond away from the basket, giving Frye some minutes while Love rests could have been effective given Frye’s sharp shooting.
After the game, coach Tyronn Lue discussed the impact that LeBron has on the game and why Channing Frye did not see any game time, as well as whether he’ll see any game time at all in the series.
