The Detroit Pistons may be down 2-0 in their first round series against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but coach Stan Van Gundy is 2-for-2 when it comes to curious comments about the opponent.

After criticizing referees on how they favor LeBron James in their calls, the newest apple of his eye is his former player and Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue. In this postgame interview clip courtesy of FOX Sports Ohio, Van Gundy gets quite sarcastic when asked about one of Lue’s Game 2 adjustments.

That’s the type of answer we usually hear from someone like Gregg Popovich. Obviously, Van Gundy is no Popovich and that is why his choice of words will not get the same treatment.
While losing the battle on the court, Van Gundy seemed to be winning the war of words, but the question is who is he really up against and what is he getting out of all these? None of his targets has paid attention.
