The Toronto Raptors entered Quicken Loans Arena with their backs against the wall, facing a 2-0 series disadvantage against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The top-seeded East team hasn’t shaken off the ghost of their recent past where the Cleveland Cavaliers have dominated them back to the prehistoric age.
Game 3 isn’t any difference, albeit being much more tighter. With exactly eight seconds remaining in the game, LeBron James took it upon himself to lift the Cavs as he calmly sank the game-winner at the buzzer to give the Cavs a 3-0 lead over the Raptors in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, 105-103.

The Cavs had full control of the game early on, even erecting a 15-point lead at some point in the game. James had another game for the ages, finishing with 38 points on an efficient 14-of-26 shooting to go along with six rebounds, seven assists, three steals, and one block. Despite the four-time MVP’s epic performance, he still got ample support from his teammates with four players scoring in double figures led by Kevin Love who had 21 markers and 16 rebounds.
The Raptors, meanwhile, relied on a spirited game from Kyle Lowry, who scored 27 points and seven rebounds. Game 4 is slated for Monday where the Cavs will have the opportunity to sweep off Toronto for the second-straight series.
