First of all, if you couldn’t tell or didn’t know, these two teams don’t like each other very much. They respect each other, but they sure as hell doesn’t like one another, and that showed in last year’s Eastern Conference Finals as well as Game 1 of this season’s East Semifinals.
It started out with a LeBron James drive to the basket, which Thabo Sefolosha tries to step in front of to take a charge. He was called for a blocking foul, much to the distaste of the Atlanta Hawks. As James gets up to go inbound the ball, Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer lets the ref knows how he feels about the call. James didn’t back down and answered back as well.
