Kyrie Irving seemed to suffer a left foot injury in last night’s Game 6 of the NBA Finals. He bent over and grabbed at his foot on a dead ball immediately after; he didn’t show any pain, but it did look like he was having a little discomfort. Irving spoke about the injury after the Cavs victory.
“I’m good,” Irving said. “I’m good, yeah. I’m good. I’m OK.”

McMenamin also noted that two other sources said Kyrie would be fine.
Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said Irving simply “tweaked it a little bit.” A source familiar with Irving’s status reiterated to ESPN, “He’ll be fine.”
Irving put up another great all-around stat line to help his team win with 23 points, four rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks. This a follow up to his 41 point, three rebound, six assist, and two steal night in Game 5 in Oakland.
Despite the injury, Irving remained confident and looked ahead to the final game of the 2015-16 NBA season on Sunday.

“It’s Game 7. All I’ve done over my life is watched a lot of Game 7’s and seen how guys come out, seeing the sway of the game, just watch a lot of film on it,” Irving said. “But now that I actually get to play in one and experience it, it’s just I’m ready to live in it and just hoping we come out with a win on the other end of it.
“But this is the all-time, all-time high of being part of a team when both teams have one chance to win championships, one game that’s separating that, and it just doesn’t stop there. So, I’m excited to just get to Sunday and see what it’s really like.”
Irving will get a chance to see what it’s like in just two days, where he could silence the doubters and cement himself as a top point guard in our league. But for now, Irving will get treatment and watch film as the Cavs prep for the two greatest words in sports: Game 7.
