When it comes to practice time, the NBA’s defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers get very little. Whether it be due to their various injuries throughout the season, or simply the rigors of traveling from city to city, the Cavs just haven’t had much time to rehearse.
With two days before the the start of this year’s playoffs, Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue is finally getting a chance to hold a practice session with his players. Fox Sports Ohio’s Fred McLeod caught up with coach Lue and LeBron James after today’s meeting. James tells McLeod that it was refreshing to be on the practice floor.
As previously mentioned, injuries forced coach Lue’s hand for much of the season. The second-year head coach tells McLeod that the Cavs had a good practice and video session today.
Ty Lue says practice and video session was good today…crammed a lot of stuff in with a Saturday start.."it will be a long process"

In his closing statements, coach Lue said the Cavs need to “get back to being us.” He told his players to be prepared whether they get 30 minutes or 30 seconds of playing time.
“We’re ready,” Lue said. “We’re ready for this moment. Let’s go out and play.”
Ty adds.."We're ready..we're ready for this moment.lets go out and play"
